This is the most centered place in my life and I might recommend that this is the place where you invest your entire heart, hands and soul to create the very best you as well.   Elbert Hubbard (one of the founders of the Arts & Crafts Movement) said that ART IS A  WAY.   And until you really dig into yourself (underneath the “…I couldn’t ever do anything” that nice) to discover the fact that you actually do have some abilities – some talents to contribute – you won’t realize that the true purpose and the real gift of all art is what it does for the producer.  Art is personal extra effort expression.

Perhaps we have had the “purpose of producing art” wrong since the first piece of art was traded, sold, or given away.   The consumer gets to enjoy the “work” and perhaps the enjoyment of ownership, but the greatest part of any art piece is what it does for your soul.  The production process – while you learn and grow in order to be able to produce it does all the magic.  It is a glorious way, and easily the most satisfying thing I have ever done in my life is my spin with my artistic effort.
