THERE IS A “SIGN” IN YOUR PATHWAY THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO YOU
My time and effort to produce a blog seems to be “more fun” than work but you would expect that from a guy who promotes and preaches a life and living motto like…
HAVING A GOOD TIME – IS MY JOB
What else would you expect. You might think that “doing just the things that are fun” in life, would be how I tackle everything – but oh – not true. There is always the “work part” of getting anything worthwhile done. Considering my book about how to shift your hobby into a great business, this effort has been almost a monster in my life. I have named it Opportunity Intersection and it has been easily one of the toughest tasks I have ever taken on in years. I just couldn’t get the “…hobby into a business bible” finished. But I have learned how to really hang in there over the years – so when something is high on my priority list, I just keep hammering away until it is in the “done” catagory and on its way into the marketplace.
I find that there are a lot of people who can “talk about all that they are going to do in their life” and some of them can talk almost forever, but the amount that they actually “get done” often falls way short of what it really takes to pull most things off. They spin their wheels constantly, and I am sure to them, it feels like they are “working at it” but all that is really going on – is spin. And “spin” as Mr. O’ Reilly suggests – does not generally produce much in the process of “success.”
CHECK YOUR OWN “SPIN” GAGE AND SEE IF YOU NEED TO “LET THE SPIN STOP HERE.”

- THE ROAD TO SUCCESS IS ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
When Keith Hone first started sharing one of his favorite quotes to help the I&E NETWORK keep growing, and when it came along, it was as if I needed to hear it the most. I latched onto it years ago, and this thought has become an integral part of my head and heart ever since.
I guess that is why we individually attach to some quotes more than others. The really timely ideas and concepts seem to “bump into” us and our thinking at almost the perfect time. So, if that is the case, then I would advise, that you go with the thought. Maybe we really need to “see or hear” something that would help us with our life and living that is timely and so “…that which we need” shows up as if it were sent by a messenger. What if… that is exactly the case.
I do believe that there is going to be a next life, and I believe that we are each here for a reason. If that is the case, then it stands to reason (at least in my reasoning) there must be a whole host of “eternal messengers” involved and interested in how things are going for each of us and if there is any way for them to influence our “directions” wouldn’t it seem that a “good quote” shot across our “bows” on special occasions might be a very helpful thing.
I am always surprised when a particular quote “…hits my soul” a little more dead center – than others. Maybe you and I are suppost to “pay attention” and that is why they are sent just for us to catch our attention first – and then for us to do someting with that impact. I usually pass them on. And Keith’s special quote here about what it takes to succeed in life – is just that kind of a quote – good counsel.
In our circle of talent we “share and extend” this idea to each other all the time. So, for you too, realize that “going after some degree of success is what your life is all about and the very fact that “the better things in life” are always a serious challenge, don’t set your heart on things that are just easy and fun. Doing “nothing with your days” is such a waste of yourself. Just tell yourself that “where you are heading” might be a challenge, but anything worthwhile is always “…under construction” and usually “uphill” in nature. These are good “signals” so grab hold, and hang in there in concepts that you feel are most important to you and the future of your life.
